I ran across this the other day and loved it so much I had to share.
Hope your wednesday is a little wilder after reading this! Happy Memorial Day!
This week I made this gorgeous Red, White, & Blue yarn wrapped wreath. I was of course inspired by Memorial Day, I loved how it turned out. Instead of going with bright colors I chose to use a darker red and blue, and cream instead of white. It took me about 3 hours to finish because of course I am a perfectionist. My inner fat kid is obsessed with Red Velvet. Not sure why because it's basically chocolate with a ton of red food coloring. For some reason putting Red Velvet in front of a recipe makes it four times more delicious. In honor of Memorial Day weekend I thought I would inspire you with a few of my favorite red velvet recipes. To: You Happy Memorial Day! I have a serious love for pilates, even just the mat classes. In each class I take I can really focus on one particular muscle and work on engaging my core the whole time. Although it kicks my butt it is one of the only "fitness" classes I ever take and look forward to going to every time. Last week I got the chance to sport one of the new Ladies Craft Night shirts at class. Just wearing this shirt and working out at the same time made me feel so empowered. Such a great way to start off a Saturday morning, and look cute doing it! Ladies Craft Night Apparel

I'm not sure if it's because I really do love to eat it or if it just always brings back good memories. I cannot eat it without thinking of being back home in Michigan for the holidays, at my bestie's house, drinking wine, and talking for hours. She has the best recipe for baked brie with apricot jam, rosemary, and sliced almonds. I'm constantly calling her to because no matter how many times she emails, texts, writes it down for me I can never remember it. Last year for Christmas she had a custom painted plate made for me, in my signature color pink, with the recipe largely printed on the front. I'm dedicating this entire blog post to one of the most amazing women I know, Candi Mae. Well to her and OBVIOUSLY brie cheese! I included the recipe for our favorite baked brie at the bottom.
